The aim of this book is to clarify the meaning of the King James Version by the use of other translations of the biblical text. These serve somewhat as a commentary on the text of the older translation.
The King James Version is the base for this work, and it is the only translation which is quoted in its entirety. Other translations are included only when they differ significantly from the King James.
